Not nearly as long as building a bike from scratch, or even from a starter bike, thats for sure. Not including paint booth time, probably 20-40 hours doing it solo and 10-20 with help (basically 20-40 man hours, and then slice it as you would).

I've never built a kit bike - My dad and I are just customizing a bike that already exists. In some ways, there's more to do (building a seat, shaping the fender, etc) but in others there's less (the drivetrain and frame are already setup, etc). As for my project, we're looking at 40-80 hours of work not including paint.

And most of that falls under the catagory of "getting the damn thing running again."

Beautiful dog. Very cool. I've always thought English Bulldogs were cool as hell.

I'm a hound guy myself.

Omg.. My Red bone (Hammy) has a beautiful howl. Ritzy, the black and tan, doesn't howl as much.

But I tell you what. You can't come near my house without them letting me know. Nicest dogs in the world but they are great guard dogs...

Once around 2am Hammy woke up and was howling like mad for no reason. So, I got up and let him out. He went out, barked once then wanted back in. The next morning my wife went out to her car, there was a slim jim stuck in the window and the door was still locked.

I love that dog.

Both of mine are pure coon hounds Red bone and black and tan. Great with kids gentle, smart Loyal as hell. The only bad thing about hounds is they have to be on a leash. Once the catch a scent they are gone. I've tried everything. I finally called a well known dog trainer and was gonna spen to big bucks to have him help me train them to stay with me off the leash...

He turned me down when I told him they were coon hounds. He said I'd have to beat it out of them, which he would not endorse... So, the leash is fine... No way I could beat my dogs...
