We are working on a very small update to fix an issue with the restore process that some users could encounter. The update will be available in a couple hours. It will skip over any programs that it cannot restore. We'll be working on fixing this too.

Update: We've pushed a small update to the play store that will allow the app to skip over any programs that it is having issues with. This should get the majority of the programs over. We're working to fix the issue for all programs, but this will take longer.

I hope to get the car out and redo all of my programs in a week or two from when my iPod restore wiped me out (a problem you've since remedied while winter raged on here). How seamless is the app between Apple and Android, now? If I redo the work with my Android does the interface all work the same?

Do you see any inherent advantages to one or the other if I have both at my disposal?

We tried to make the apps as identical as we could, while still trying to respect the "android way". Yeah, I wish we would have had the backup/restore feature out earlier. That would have saved you time. I'm finally starting to see some people use the feature. We thought about adding a reminder every 30 days to back up your programs.

You'll have to decide on the android/iOS yourself. I'll probably continue to use both. We're going to keep the features in sync between to two.

One thing we haven't had an opportunity to test is to see if we can modify the wifi connection on the android to allow internet access over cellular while connected to the master. I assume that it could be configured the same as the iphone by following the instructions in our troubleshooting section on our website. I have 3 android devices, but no data plans yet.

Cool. One more simple one, if you will. What the heck do I search for in the App store (Google Play Store). I'm getting 200+ apps for birds and owls but none that look to be yours.

We're working on our search rankings...the easiest way to find it is search for "NightOwl" (all one word...since that is our name).

It would also help if you rank our app.

I assume that you are running something lower than 4.0. We asked a few months ago what version everyone was using and nobody said anything lower than 4.0. Sorry.
