and for people like me that hate Apple products and simply refuse to buy them, I don't want my money being spent to develop that option in terms of overall product costs. Having a USB jack is perfectly fine for people like me. I have a USB drive inserted in my console and works just fine.

Now, my GF has an iPod that she'll connect to the system and from what I've seen -- she doesn't have any complaints on how the system handles it... If it's just something they can do in the car's firmware/software that doesn't add option costs.. then, fine.. but, I don't want some notch or markout for something I'd never use.

Out of deep concern for your problem I have engineered a quick, but high tech solution.
Step 1: Acquire some tape. I used electrical but duct tape will hold better.

Step 2: Tear off a small piece of tape.

Step 3: Take piece of tape and form a roll.

Step 4: Apply newly created double side tape to back of !PHONE.

Step 5: Apply !PHONE to steering wheel or surface of choice.


After project is complete you should be able play with your !PHONE while driving your Camaro although the 323HP and 30MPG would be good enough for me. (Average installation time: 30 seconds. )

I have nothing against them....hell let me give you a little background here boss. I'm currently 41 years old, I have owned a Camaro since I was 16. In order, I've owned a 78 LT, 83 Z28, 89 IROC, 93 Z28, 73 RS/Z28, 99 Z28 and my current 10' SS. What bothers me is all I see you do on here and on Chicago 5th gen is belittle what the 5th gen platform is bringing to the table. Your lowpoint was saying the 4th gen was so much better because it had a real leather wrapped e brake handle. Seriously? Really? The question is, what's your problem?!?! Is it 5th gen envy?!?!? This car is the finest Camaro platform I've ever owned....and having owned 2 of each gen ( aside from Gen I ) I think that should tell you something. But yeah, I clearly have an issue.

So once GM engineers the car to you EXACT specs, will you buy it? I'm going to guess not....so how about pipe down a bit.

The point is that we talk to all walks of life -- ESPECIALLY because we wanted this car to appeal to a wider audience.

The Nav. is a perfect example: a lot of the 'intenders' and other sport coupe owners felt that OnStar was a safer alternative. I won't get into an argument over that other than to say the last thing we need is people looking DOWN instead of watching the road.........

Something else to chew on: What makes you think we're 'done'? Perhaps we have lots of other tricks up our sleeve.
