Looks like we should have a great showing at the Pavillions tonite! Polish them up, and pray we don't get another dust storm! Bring some water and ice too - going to be hot!

Breetai.... the 2 salesmen I worked with at Power in Mesa were Dennis Navarro and the manager I believe his name was Randy. Both great guys and probably the best salespeople I have ever worked with.

ajp... as far as warranty and extras in finance. Their GAP insurance was waaayyy to high at $750 (they would not budge on price). I got that at my credit union after the fact for $255, exact same coverage. They came down on the GMPP 7year/70k warranty to around $1500...did not buy that either. This isn't a daily driver for me and I might mod the car. All in all I try to never purchase anything from finance. It's the last chance that day the dealer has to make money from you and people feel vulnerable in there. These finance guys try to make you feel dumb for not purchasing there expensive add on coverages. i hate this dept. with a passion.

About my loan situation I mentioned earlier to watch out for. I called Tru West after they called my house the next morning ( I had to go back to dealer to sign papers the next day...wife had signed the night before) and they said loan approved and all was good to go, nothing extra is needed. Ten minutes later Power finance dept called me and said Tru West denied my loan and they want 2 months bank statements, etc. They got me approved at a higher rate with BMW financial, but no paperwork will be needed so just do that and we can be done fast. ( I knew they were trying to make some money here)
After I told them Tru West said I was approved he looked it up and said "oh...you're not the Navarro family are you? (that is my salesman's last name by the way)" I said, "NO!" Magically he looked at my loan from Tru West and now it was approved with nothing else needed. SHADY SHADY and pissed me off.

With a high credit score and a current loan with Tru West I knew they would not have a problem with this loan.

Just a warning for anybody out there. Be careful and don't let these guys get you. They can try to be smooth talkers, but got caught in their own lie with me.

Wow - they were really trying to rip you on the Gap and 7/70 also!! I got the 7/70 - the Gap, and 3 years of free oil changes at Thorobred for $650 total!

Just goes to show you that you have to be on your toes all the way through the deal!

Pretty Kewl Striping job, The more I look at it, the kewler it looks. Did not care for its "Complexness" at first, but it growes on you.

Of course, my Camaro thinks he is Bumblebee's Lost Twin Brother. (Grin)

I live in Hawaii and ordered a 2SS Manl trans no options from Freeway Chevy. They are one of the only USAA dealers in the City and got me a good deal, they also excepted my GMAC points which brought it down to $36,854 out the door!!

If there is any Military folks in the area i suggest going through them with your USAA benifits.

Yup, they Freeway in Chandler honored everything they promised and more. Every step of the way they bent over backwards for me.

I was dealerless at the time I orderd my Camaro after having a terrible time with Brown and Brown after my last Vette Purchase.

I am planning on a Z06 purchase Late fall and will be ordering from Freeway for sure.

Ordered mine through Henry Brown Chevrolet, in Casa Grande, on May 15th 2009, no "market value adjustment" and they gave me GMS (my dad retired with 41 yrs.), best deal I could find, and the dealer has not tried to BS me at all. I have tried to buy from Freeway on several different occasions, and they feed me the "we can't do GMS on that car", and at my most recent visit for an oil change, I asked the sales guy why he didn't have any Camaros in the showroom, he says " we sell them as fast as we get em, why are you interested in ordering one?" I tell him I've already got one on order through another dealer, he asked how much the "premium" was, and just about choked when I told him no premium, and GMS. My car is at 2000 now, just waiting patiently, like everyone else. Oh yea, mine is a 2SS, IOM, black stripes, W1H, L99, MXO.
