Well I went into lawrence hall, but the guy i spoke with said "all the preorders were pretty much in," and didn't seem to interested in taking my order. So i cruised over to hanner chevrolet and talked to a good friend of my family's. This was a much better option...get this: I'm the 4th on the list, and 2 of the 4 are just camaros that chevy is forcing on them: a black ss and a base LT. so i was just the 2nd order and I ordered in april!

Also, I have a question for you guys. The two relatively bigger Chevy dealerships here have had their Camaro delivery postponed to some undisclosed date in June..?!?!? So i haven't even seen a camaro in person yet. I'll probably be driving to dallas this weekend to check one out. Is anyone else's dealership left out to dry like that?

SMALL TOWN. MARBLE FALLS with a POP of About 4800..

I thought we would be one of the LAST ones to get one but it was delivered WED I believe.. Its out front on display next to a vette.

Nevermind, I found out that they were mistaken, it was silver not CGM. Would still like to know how the owners are here is town, maybe I'll see it out and stalk them for a closer look.

SS 2LT Just Ordered

Guys, just ordered the SS 2LT in CGM...though living near Austin(Dripping Springs), I ordered from Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine....I think I'm order # 136 for them....dealing with Kevin Gooding was easy, this dealership charged me no more than MSRP while Capital Chevy in Austin wanted $2,500.00 over MSRP...driving an '03 Acura TL Type-S now...hope I can handle the SS!!!

Do you mean you got the RS 2LT? There's no such thing as a 2LT SS.

Trim levels are LS/1LT/2LT/1SS/2SS. To any of those (except the LS), you can add the RS package.

That's gonna look kickass when you get it! I adore CGM after seeing member photos of it, but sticking with IBM since that's the color I really wanted when I bought my truck

FWIW, my sales rep at Champion Chevy in Austin said they'll be marking up the Camaro 5% or so for new orders. He says that my pre-order is protected. Let's hope I get no surprises next month when my car rolls in....
