What does that have to do with this? Most of the older owners on here have way more powerful camaro's. Many have the zl1 and 1LE. It honestly depends on what you want as a car and what you can afford. But if you are honestly going to give up your camaro just because of that, . Why not just upgrade to a zl1..?

For the most part, I enjoy the car, but...This was the exact reason why part of me was against it in the first place. The BMW draws a very different crowd than the camaro. A lot of camaro people are very nice, but I've also seen the punk 20 year old with his hat on sideways, wearing gold chains, blaring his wannabe gangsta music roll up to the gas station with his new camaro. This happened right after I bought my Z4 and it made me happy I went with it. I just haven't seen that with people who drive bmw's, and especially the Z4. It just bothers me that there's more of a tendency to see that type of kid driving a camaro.

Second Camaro, 27 years old, '14 2SS/RS
Was 17 years old when I got my first camaro which was a '99 V6 (which I ended up putting a cam and 4.10s and all sorts of goodies into)

Got my 2SS right before I turned 17. And I am making all the payments and purchasing all the fuel on my own.

I have no problem mixing with the camaro crowd, young or old. We are all here because we share a common love and interest! That's what makes it so cool,We can unite, rib each other over our ages and differences and its all good! I tried a few vette gatherings that was full of the numbers matching golf hat wearing sophisticated crowd and it was a yawnfest...they got to making comments on my car because it was a 71 convert that was highly modified.(I saved it from scrap!!)It would never be a correct vette. Funny thing was that it allways had a crowd around it and they didn't like that.I felt out of place there but a lot of them came around after talking with me.Sometimes you just got to give people a chance. We all are not gonna like the same stuff but that's the awesome part.

Those are called douchebags, and where I'm from that happens with BMWs too.
