If it's legit--who cares v6 vs. v8. Sell it if you don't want it. You probably won't have any trouble unloading it unless, contest rules prohibit selling.

I just got off the phone with Ebay and they told me to continue to run the auction on the Bumbleebee and that is a good way to find out the serious bidders and those that are get this kids who just bid to see how high they can go.
And even if you have a reserve and one of these kids hits it and wins unless you take them to court it is like blood from a stone.

Derek told me he has a call in to San Diego, so I am assuming that is the Ebay headquarters in regards to what they want to do with this auction. It has well over 800 views and 129 watchers which he says is a lot, probably collectors waiting until the end.
Derek told me to send him pics and he would set up a really nice page for the auction and get some media involved as well, he seemed quite excited about the car.

That is how everything is going so far

Of course, the more money the car brings the more money they make right? Maybe cars are different.

Even if you are 100% set on selling it, I would end the auction NOW and wait till you get the car. It will bring in A LOT more if you have actual pictures of the car.

Ebay doesn't get a percentage, it is 125.00 flat fee I couldn't believe it. That was one of the first questions I asked months ago because I thought it was a percentage as well.

Ebay charges a flat insertion fee of between $.10 to $4 depending on the starting price and a final value fee of 8.75% of the closing price on the normal Ebay.com (the percentage decreases as the final costs go up maxing out at 1.5% for over $1,000). Due to the amounts cars can go for, this would lead to final value fees being up into the thousands if they did a percentage so they did a flat listing fee if you sell the car but it only applies to the first 4 cars you sell in a 1 year period.

Spoke with ebay last night and they have decided to run the next auction when I have pics on the ebay motors home page.

The last 2 bidders are legit as well.
