I want to go vertical. I have set a goal for the company. When I reach it I am going vertical. I think that is the ONLY thing that could be more exhilerating than cornering at over 1g.

As in under power flying, or jumping? I have always thought a copter would be a blast to fly, just never have gotten around to it.
Skydiving just seems as though I too many circumstances not under my control. It is that 2% chance everytime of rapid decelleration that stops me.

I love that Goat!
Fill me in on the 60' tricks! I really need help in that department.
Only problem with the working to buy these cars is we work 95% of the time.
I guess more work than play is a good thing, untill they start taxing us more than we get to keep then I will slow down.

I took my little man and two of his cousins shooting today, they shot three different pistols, four rifles and a shotgun. It was fun but it cant hardly compare to pulling 1g+ in a corner on a perfect line!
I really have to hit the track again before the storm at work hits.

It sound like you guys had fun also. It would be great to figure out how to work less, play more, and NOT get eaten alive by taxes. So the 60 ft trick is not really a trick, but he was helping me dial in the best launch for my car. He did about 6 launches varying the rpms. We found that with my gearing, 2500rpm had almost no slipping, 2800rpm had some slipping, but with feathering the clutch gave us the best overall launch. I practiced this on one of our back streets where there are no houses, and I was getting a little slippage, but nothing like I have been experiencing at the track. Can't wait to try this at the track with the lower tire pressure. I don't know when we'll go again, but I'll keep you posted.

That is too cool Hooverman!! I have had a few rides in copters and flew a Cessna a little, helicopters just seem like the most fun! I really like the idea of being able to slow down and look at everything, not having to use an airport is also a big plus.

I just signed up for this track day: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...639:happyanim:
I hope I can squeeze it in, looks like a blast! I think it is a lot more formal than Sandia, but it should be fun! They are limiting it to 26 cars, so we should get plenty of track time.

Its like a magic carpet. I always tell everyone it better than a real job, but it has its ups and downs.

That looks like one heck of a nice track mws, you should have a blast. Wish I had the time to make a trek like this. That darn thing they call work keeps getting in the way.

I sent in my info for SEMA already but if you would like I can try and add you on, Let me know.

570, we have not booked our rooms yet but thinking of the Hard rock hotel or possibly MGM. Looks as though most early bird specials end Aug 30Th. It would be awesome if we all stayed in the same hotel. Hard rock is currently offering $109.00 per night for SEMA attendees.

Have any suggestions?
