I have yet to hit a bird in my Camaro but I seem to hit them weekly in my 4Runner. I had one go into the lower grille and explode everywhere. Damn birds....

Hello ladies and gentlemen, I just wanted to take a second to introduce myself...

While I am currently a frankenstein turbo IS300 (shooting for 900RWHP) and BMW M3 owner, I am very serious about acquiring a Camaro SS in the somewhat near future.

I am currently scouring this site for information, and am particularly interested in what modification possibilities are out there. I have got some good ideas from this site already, and am beginning to map out plans for the car once I get one.

I am a long time moderator on the major national IS300 forum (my.IS), so I plan on contributing alot to this forum in the years to come.

We have a large Ohio chit chat thread much like this one on my.IS, so I was very glad to see there is a large group of Ohio Camaro enthusiests on this site. I tend to be very active in the meet and show scene, so I look forward to meeting many of you in the future!
Welcome to the site. I look forward to meeting you and reading some of the input you will have for us all.

Glad to hear you stopped by New Era. I forgot you were on your trip. I've been obsessed with wheels this past week! They are really nice guys. I hope you can come to a decision about what to do with your car. With all the different options, it's so hard to pick one!

No problem. I saw you were from Akron so I figured you lived close. I can't wait to go. I'm trying to decide on what wheels to get for our car and there are going to be a few Camaros there that I want to see in person to look at their wheels.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome so far. I look forward to seeing what people have done to their cars for inspiration, especially engine mod stuff, which is hard to get a feel for from a computer screen.

The D2Forged wheels are beautiful but I don't like them on the Camaro. I'm all about the old school muscle-car look. I know a lot of people don't like the muscle-car look and want their cars to be more "modern" which is o.k. They just don't do anything for me. I'll keep searching. I'm hoping that wheel companies will come out with some new wheels at Sema because my search has come to an end for now.

I can understand that ideology. I, however, am coming from the import world, and my tastes will obviously reflect that. But that is the beauty of being a car enthusiast, there are many philosophies, and I can appreciate them all... As long as they are in good taste, and even that is subjective.

Good luck in your wheel search, I am sure you will find something eventually that will pique your interest!

The new mods around here are mostly installed and slowing down, I'm sure you'll pick up the slack. You missed a good time at dyno day. Hopefully another get together will come together soon.
Friday's looking good for a cruise in: Friday Forecast

Who's going tomorrow eve. I will be at an office picnic but could make a cruise in tomorrow eve. Missed all you guys.

Obviously Gin left the car... as you all are aware, I have adopted it.

Hit one with the C5 a few weeks back. Never saw it come out the back. Need to check behind the grill. No odors in the garage so it should be good.
