I had emailed Steve pushing him to get a status on my car that had been at 3000 for over 7 weeks. I got an email back that simply said "3400", thats it "3400" and no other information. I tried to call him a few minutes ago, but he is not at his desk. I am going to try back later.

Thats all he sent any of us I believe. Just short and to the point. If you have any other questions keep calling him.

When he told me I was 3000 I sent him an email asking what date I went 3000 and he replied with the date within the same day..

Remember how you were gonna stop by my house in your SS, know I'm thinking maybe we can have a little Camaro motorcade heading south on 71! Barring any problems I bet we take delivery pretty close together...

Thanks for the congratulations...I'm not really sure when I went to 3000, i sent him an email 5/5 to see if he had any updates and he said "no, you r still at 3000" so judging from that I was at 3000 for a while...

I am trying, but I can't smell anything because the stinch of delay is so overwhelming around here. Think about it...... Where is the sign?

I hope you are right and we both see south 71 sometme in the near future. When I do not have a clue, I just hope TRMs car is off the lot soon, maybe I will feel better then.

Ya I'll feel better too. Good news for you and the rest is the cars that didn't go to Pontiac and were delivered to basil had their invoices within 2 days of shipment with the exception of the yellow 2lt but they expect that tomorrow (if it didn't come today)-that was part of one of my morning conversations with them today.

I always knew it was going to be worth of in the end; that doesn't mean all the intermediate BS is/was ok. As far as the deal went, got GSU as promised. In-out took a little longer than I anticipated but a lot was my fault as I himmed and hawed about things like extended warranty, a tire and rim protection package and a paint/fabric protection package. I did resolve to myself to buy the GM MajorGuard $0 deductible for 7/70 bumper to bumper for $2300. I just know on a brand new model it's the right thing to do. One halo shits the bed 5 years from now and 1/3 of it's paid for. Once I did that, the other 800 for the rest was pretty much academic and the paint/fabric is good for the same 7 years against stains rips tears and against bird shit etching, water spots, acid rain, etc. Also if you're local it includes one full detail each year. He'll that's 79.95 a year around here all by itself.

Ok, that rambled on a little but you get the point. Working with them to close the deal went well. 60 months 4.84%. Not bad with what's out there.
