I'm not trying to win anything. I have no doubt that the GT500 will be a very capable muscle car. I'd just hate for you to misquote somebody then have it blown way out of proportion or blow up in your face when they aren't "equal". People will take what you say and run with it.

I can't believe you guys are still yappin about this. How many of you intend to leave your ZL1 bone stock? How many of you are ACTUALLY buying a ZL1 at all? The ZL1 has big potential with more boost and a tune. Covering the 70 hp differential will not be all that difficult.

P.S. I think it's bad ass they're making the ZL1 available with an A6. This is good news for us draggin types

yep you are right, it won't be hard at all to up to hp but you gotta remember, the GT500 folks love to mod their cars, too.

This is one reason I'm on the fence over getting an M6... no lift shift will be cool, but the auto is going to rock at the strip.

Another thing to consider is these cars will be quickly approaching the 11.5 mark and require roll cages...

Lol, that is so true, anyone can mod to increase performance, but when its factory produced with warranty is when it counts. 650hp all forged is no joke.

This, at most pulley,tune,tires. and you are low 11's high 10's.

All for about $1200-$1500 dollars.
