[QUOTE=irpq11;723048] Last time I went to drop it off I was almost wanting them to not take it.

Funny, that is the exact same way I felt, like "You guys keep this peace of sheet until you fix it"

So as you know when they lied for the 3rd time and said it was running "fine" I said Srew it, and sold it.

I am not opposed to getting a tune but I do not want to void the warranty so I am patiently waiting for GM to step up.
This car was bought primarily for my wife so I am only in it a couple times a week when she needs the Tahoe.
With that being said she is not unhappy with the performance and really don't care about the 0-60 times. She is just ecstatic she has her RJT Camaro. I am a little confused about that because her stock 97 Z28 pulled harder off the line and she doesn't seem to notice that. Probably because I am the only one that put that car through it paces. I could smoke the tires on that car at will with T/C turned off. She hates it when she is in the car with me because technically it is hers and she doesn't care for me driving it hard.
Anyway there is a tune company offering a tune that is "undetectable" so I might look more into that in the coming months if GM doesn't step up and re-tune our cars to get stated performance.

I might take this advice to heart and do the same.

That's why I got my car dynoed. My car felt fast and has poved itself on the street. But I wanted to know for sure what's going on with my car (hp, tq, a/f ratio). If you get your car dynoed and it's making around 320 rwhp (on a well respected dyno), you're in good shape, and you should be able to run easy low 13s or better in good weather.

Because the car that ran 13.3 @ 105 mph in 87 degrees with 90% humidity weather dynoed 318 rwhp on the dyno I ran on.

Will do.

Like I said before. I'll take fast times over higher HP.

If a Mustang pulled up next to me right now I would do my best not to make eye contact. He would definately beat me.

Ill post them again. I'm on my phone right now. Bonnies watching tv and our computer is on our tv.

All I can tell you PQ is that it is hard for me not to make my tires chirp just going into 1st gear in my LS3. I wish you good luck in this situation and hope GM does actually fix yours and others problems with their L99's..

After Friday night at TMS and the improvement I saw there (made it into the fourth round), I decided to hit Kennedale Raceway tonight, for some actual ET slips. I did seven runs total, over a period of about 2 hours. It was 40%+ humidity. It was 95F+ temperature. Over the seven runs, I was consistently within the 8.5-8.7 second range for the 1/8 mile. On a couple of runs, I was pulling chirps in the shift to second *and* the shift to third.

Not wanting to hijack IRPQ's thread any further, I started a new one with the ET Slips and a couple of videos.

I am hoping we can get a Top Ten list of 1/8 mile times going, and a best/worst variant too to further demonstrate the disparity in the L99 tunes, etc.

Careful. I don't belive there is an undetectable tune. I may be wrong but my gut says no way.

No. I decided to track it first. I'm gonna get my slip and then I'll have another peice of good data to give them. I called UJ Chevrolet and will have them do it instead. I'm kinda done with Bay Chevrolet as far as the service dept. goes. The sales staff are awesome.

Well, guys. We did race. I had another freind drive hers. We set a distance that ended up to be right between a quarter and eighth mile. We were doing about 85 mph when we went across the line.

Her car beat mine on all three runs. In my defense, a lot of people don't realise how fast those little IS350s are. I was ALOT closer to hers this time though. the second was only a car length.

I really think that my car is coming around on it's own. Sound crazy but my times have been getting better slowly.
