Where you write "fat" I read "muscular". Where you write "dated" I read "american".

I already like it but this will look even better in person, I bet. Can't wait to see the hi-po versions... Mach 1, Boss 3xx, GT350, etc. whatever FoMoCo decides on.

I can guarantee you that the 2016 camaro will mop the floor of the new mustang in looks and performance. The new mustang while fine doesn't excite you in design. It's not bad to look at but so similar looking to other regular cars. The camaro will be taking technology from the corvette. This includes magnetic ride, ptm, ediff, lt1 and possibly down the line lt4 supercharged. The design will evoke power unlike the new mustang which just looks like a fancy ford fusion coupe.

like the interior, don't care for the exterior.. ^^ but based on performance and the new rear end, the new GT will undoubtedly be better than a 1LE Camaro

Love it inside and out. I will own one if the performance is there to match the rest of it's awesomeness. I can't wait to see one in the flesh.

For whoever said ford is showing their hand I disagree. Classic ford introduce a new body and wait a year or two before you introduce the new power train. I have a feeling Ford is waiting for the gen6 camaro to be released before they add the rumored 450-475HP. They know what kind of power the LT1 makes and know the camaro more than likely won't make quite as much. So they will wait and try and steal some of the Camaros thunder.

I can probably count on one hand how many times I have had rear seat passengers in my car in the last 2 years, I find the comments about the rear seat room amusing at best.

2015 Mustang revealed....let the trash talking begin!!
http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories...MPLATE=DEFAULT
http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...ng_first_look/ My initial opinion..... I like it better than the previous model but not enough to make me trade in my Camaro. I do really like some of the interior detailing though. GM should take a close look at some of the interior changes and incorporate them into the 6th gen Camaro. The following comment from the AP article summed up my thoughts nicely: "Anyone looking for something a bit more modern is going to choose the Camaro," ![]() ![]() Let the trash talking begin!!!!!!

I guess I feel the same way about it as I do any other Mustang. Just not my thing.
If I were to have a complaint with it, it would be this: if you took the pony badges off the car, would it say 'Mustang' to you? It wouldn't to me. Of course, that's all predicated on me not having seen it in person, so we'll see. It's not bad. I like it better than the 05-10, not as much as the current one. |

When the spy photos were going around I reserved judgement because I couldn't believe Ford would go with such a fugly body.
Maybe with some scoops and spoilers it'll look a little better. I'm sure the aftermarket's already working feverishly to come up with a better nose for it. |

All these people bitching about rear seat room must have never sat in a Pre-05 rear seat.
You could steal HALF the room from the S197 rear seat and have the same amount as the SN95 rear seat. My cousin who is 6'5" sat in the back of my '13 for a ride one time and while he wasn't super comfortable, he wasn't crammed in like a sardine either. I take that back, when he rode back there with a 6' + guy in the passenger seat it was humorous, but nobody buys these cars as 4 adult haulers. Typically it's a smaller kid or a baby seat such as my situation.

Not my thing at all im Camaro & Corvette through and through. Im not impressed at all by the new Mustang from a design perspective at all. I'm sure it will be pretty good performance wise due to finally coming into the 21st century and getting an independent rear suspension and losing extra weight so im sure it will be better on the track but GM will be able to beat it with Magnetic Ride Control and all the tech it has from Corvette and the current Camaro and from a design perspective the Camaro Team will not let us down. GM Design is the best in the world when it comes to creating out of this world designs that wow and inspire people more than this 6th Gen Mustang design ever could hope to.
