Thank - you, I have been in the triple digits a few times. Now if I can get the wheel spin under control. I went to drag radials to help with that, but track prep is almost non-existent where I go. But I can make as many passes as I want in the 4 hours they are open to. I made 16 passes that day. As for reaction time. I don't have it with me at the moment on what my time was. Usually under 0.200. But on test and tune day this does nothing for the ET. Only heads up does a GREAT RT mean anything.

Looking for an exhaust sample with MRT V2 and the Magnaflow Resonated X-Pipe. Trying to decide whether to install my Res-X or sell it.

Don't think I've seen an example of that. A former V6 owner here had DT shorty headers + what your asking about and said he liked it,but I'm sure the headers helped give it a bit more snarl.

Why are thinking about installing it? Drone issues?

If only it were that easy. Come on, you got to put some effort into it.

First off, what sounds good to me, may sound like crap to you.

2nd...you at least how to give us a price point. In my opinion Long Tube headers with something like ARK D-II, or LTs with a custom magnaflow setup sound the best to me, but there are many others that are close, but those setups will set you back 1,500 minimum. If your looking to only buy a catback, or spend even less and only get an axle-back then you had better start watchin videos.

Can somebody tell me if the Cherry Bomb v8 extreme bolts up on the LFX models. I dont think I seen anybody with it and I've searched up and down this forum lol

Not sure if this has been asked before, but which axle-back system is going to give me little to no in-cabin drone? I've really been wanting to upgrade the exhaust but the possible drone has really kept me from taking the plunge.

I've not heard most of th axle-backs in person. I really only have reference to my Magnaflow system and I've heard and rode in an MRT 2.0 equipped car.

The MRT 2.0 had quite a bit more drone than my magnaflow system (with resonated X...that makes a difference) does. But the MRT system is also louder.

I'd say the tamer systems like Magnaflow, Borla, and JBA will be on the low side for drone.

You could always opt to spend a bit more and add Helmholtz pipes or "J" pipes as they are sometimes caused. They cancel out the drone frequencies, even with loud exhausts and really make a world of difference. I'd recommend looking into that once you decide an an exhaust. I think if you search for the term Helmholtz in the V6 section you may find a good thread about it.

Flowmaster Super 40 Dual In - Dual Out link added to first post. Muffler located up near the stock H-pipe and straight pipe ran to the back. Includes several pics and videos.
