Hey what is that tube in the picture I circled. I normally see those if something requires power (to cover wire(s) ) like on the door jams of our Tahoe.

Is there something electrical on the trunk? Wait a minute there is no key opening for the Camaro! Has anybody wondered about that?!

maybe this might lead you guys to Shunt, maybe that's an oxygen line for him in order to get oxygen in the trunk

That's wiring loom, or if it was a house, they call it conduit. There are wires in there - for the power trunk release solenoid and trunk lid light, which are both mounted in the trunk lid.

Not only does it provide oxygen but during those times where the car is out in the rain or being washed it provides water for Shunt. Those GM engineers may not like Shunt much but at least they are trying to keep him alive.

Shunt

and that's how you do it, folks. You don't need to have the car out yet to get the plate. Order it now and put it on your ride. Then, when the 5th Gen comes out, you just go back to the DMV and tell them you wish to transfer your plate from the old to the new. I've done it. It's easy as cake....no problem. That way, you get the plate now!

I want to see a pic of that plate once you get it!!!
Got my new plate today.......

I just went back to page one of this thread and read through it entirely just to refresh my memory as to how exactly we got to this point.....

Hillarious. A classic. I've never been involved in such a story. We could write a book. Titled What Lies in Fbodfather's Trunk
