Thanks but probably won't know till that day unfortunately. So don't save a spot. Our daughter is due between now and that weekend with our 4th grandchild so can't make definate plans. Hopefully if nothing else we will be able to cruise out and see all the cars though. Thanks again.

Weather looks great for Sunday and Monday. Who is going to what show ? Iowa Falls ? Waterloo ? Anywhere else ?

im doing madrid tom and holmes chevrolet mon the iowa speedway pace car is gonna be in madrid show tom. they were at the fall fun festival car show at grace church here in dsm was a good show they told me they would be at madrid !

got 4 th place today at the madrid show 347 cars registerd and like 40 or more not registerd ! i was competing in 1987 to 2012 stock class against a whole lot of cars mostly mustangs and a few challengers and 1 other 5th gen of course the top three cars are really not stock considering the 2 place car was a gt 500 cobra super snake the other was a roush shelby mustang 3 rd and the 1 st place was the 2011 callaway camaro

but hey to finish fourth to those ill take it !

the callaway was a red one very pretty car clear hood and all !

Cool ! 2nd place at Scenic City Labor Day car show. Nice trophy. 4 Gen5's one was pace car from Newton. Another Gen5 won our class...Camaro/Firebird stock. Fun day and more trophys for Gen5.

did the pace car win ? they placed first at madrid in the special intrest class with the camaro and the pick up !

there was a few 5th gens at the holmes chevrolet show and shine today but no winners for the newer cars ! but a good time none the less great show !
