now if they could make one that looks like a camaro...or even a moostang.and no,4 doors does not a moostang make.

Then people would complain they stole the look of the Camaro. Complain no matter what, that's people. Anyway we don't need them to do anything, they are not for us. What a temptation to write celebrate diversity! Of course celebrating diversity is celebrating inferiority.

Only a handful of people truly use their Camaros as track cars and worry about top speed

I have had my SS 1LE for seven years and have yet to hit a race track or worry about hitting top speed.

The Camaro is a fun car to drive around town however if you want to bury your head in the sand and say electric car suck that’s fine but electric cars are a lot of fun driving around town as well for most normal people… I am old-fashioned and like my stick shift V-8 like I grew up in but The fact of the matter for the vast majority of my driving a tesla is a lot of fun as well

No, an electric car is not an ideal vehicle to go road racing but only probably 4% Of muscle car owners even take their car to a track

Just how much of a trade-in value in Sweden for a Camaro? Here I can't know, thankfully. Rare anywhere that the trade-in value is anything but wholesale value.

For most, its the emotion of the cars ownership, and not the performance. OK stop light grand prix but track? No.

What, if any, penalties/added tax/import fees/gas guzzler, etc. is associated with owning an American car in Sweden? Surely there must be some downside. ? (sorry if you’ve covered this)

This is probably the only time in history that is the case. Once the vehicle manufacturers can finally get caught back up again it will be back to normal

In your defense though if you get a good deal on a used Camaro and drive it for a year or 2 you might stay the same equity. That is about smart purchasing

If gas in the US goes up to seven dollars a gallon I can guarantee you less people would be interested in muscle cars along with RVs and full-size pick up trucks

When gas skyrocketed back in 2008 my brother (car salesman) was offering people less than 50% trade-in value on their SUVs because they could not sell them due to gas prices. The people were insulted but ironically they were trading in their big vehicle for a smaller vehicle and everybody else was doing the same

Of course Americans easily forget How Gas can fluctuate
