O.K. team...lets get serious....I've looked around and the title "Gulf Coast Camaro's" is used by a group from the Pan-handle of Florida. Jimmie's original title "Mississippi Camaro Car Club" has too many sylabals (sp?), too long and doesn't really ring off the tonge...and restricts others from particpating - ie. Alabama, Louisiana...etc. Lets get organized...lets get serious...How about something simple....to the point...."COAST COMARO'S" (U.S.coast from TX. to Fla.). We could allow for honorary members like 1fasttransam (close design cousins), or vettes, or Novas, or Chevells, or Impalas as long as they are Camaro friendly.. Or should it be Camaro's only...rules could include you must own a Camaro - or not? Camaro owner opinions are needed.....Vote now! What say you?...Hey, Jimmie bee man started this...lets make it happen...we could do our own little part with charities and fund raisers and make this world.....a little better....as well as show off our cars at car shows.......C'MON!!!! What do you think?

Could go:
Gulf Coast GM HP Club
Gulf Coast GM Club
Gulf Coast Camaros

Granted I know this is Camaro5 site and all but just a few ideas. OR we could have a meet sometime and go over it in person and kinda do a vote thing or even a poll on here with 4 choices max and the most voted on takes it.

Well I am in agreance with you i think we need to organize. right now in our local area there is only 1 car club and they are mostly imports (Kaotic Kreations). We could just make our club american muscle cars to rival them. How about "Gulf Coast Muscle"? and we could still include all the gulf states and include other vehicles to join us.

The name is obviously just a working title. And I am all for fund raising and things like that, which alot of other local clubs do like the show on saturday on pass road church.

Agreed on Gulf Coast Muscle. Not to mention a lot of Camaro owners own more than 1 muscle car.

Here's some Camaro history some of you may already know: "Finally, the car was introduced to the press as the Camaro, considered to be a good name because nobody knew what it meant. Chevrolet produced an old French dictionary showing that the word meant "friend" or "companion", but Ford found an alternate meaning in an old Spanish dictionary-"a small, shrimp-like creature."The automotive press had a good laugh over that, and an even bigger one when one journalist found yet another meaning-"loose bowels." It didn't take long for the laughter to stop after the introduction of the stunning 1967 Camaro!"
So....Coast Camaro Club would really mean: Coast Friend Club.....and the triple "C's" would make a super logo....Yeah, I'm a member of triple C....he,he,he....I kinda like that.....

My two cents; should be " camaro's of the gulfcoast " and go with all camaros and firebirds/trans ams. I wish i could come to some shows but my kids have horse shows on sat. I am retired Coastgurd and love spending time with my kids now. after show season i can start making shows and meetings. I love what you guys are doing keep up the good work.

Here's a shot of my baby with new American Racing Torq thruster anthricite 20 inch rims....10's on the back 8.5 on the front. My daughter took this shot with her cell phone at her house soon after I got them. Jimmie, it was nice to meet ya....your car is awesome. On-line pictures don't do it justice....in person the BMBLBEE is a show winner!!! I hope to meet the rest of you soon.
