A lot of the "hate" as you say it is just v8 responding to v6ers.....

It goes like this..

1 v8 owner says something stupid that offenders v6.
30 v6 post how ignorant and how all v8 owners have a small penis
v8 owners come in and fight ensues
v6 ends up saying v8 are all aholes.
mod comes warns half the thread
thread closed
fight continues elsewhere

They're both 312. GM just "certified" the engine for 2011.

The V6 in the 2010 and 2011 is the same engine. There's no diference. GM officially had it rated for 304 hp but had the rating re-evaluated for the 2011 to combat the 308hp the 2011 V6 Mustang has.

The 312 hp applies to both 2010 and 2011 V6 Camaros.

I stand corrected then. Thanks for letting me know.

The differences between the V6 and the V8 don't freaken matter.
Most V6 owners that got the 2LT could have gone for the Base V8 if they wanted, cause its not much more. It comes down to gas mileage and hey good on them. They wanted a car that they could use as a daily driver. I have a V8 and i know that every single one of you other V8 owners are going to say you can get good gas mileage to. But being a V8 owner, the fact is you really can't, or you have to try really hard. I admit i always wanna mash the peddle. Love that torque feel.

As for the V6 owners saying that V8 owners are just compensating for stuff. (penis, life, ect) come on how immature are we going to get here? I know that i bought the V8 cause i love my car and love the power. Not because of anything else. Buy what you desire, and don't go thrashing on the other people just because they got something diff.

Each person has a diff reason for buying the car they did. If its cause you love cars and the V8 Muscle is the way to go, or you love cars, as in the body style and don't care so much about the power. I don't know if you people have notice but the Camaro is one pretty sweet looking car. And the Style doesn't change cause of the engine size. Don't go saying the hood scoop either, cause its fake so don't brag that up.

All i'm trying to get at here is shut up and love the car you bought, and not hate on the others just cause you think there purchase is stupid cause its not yours.

And there is still speed limits. They both do over 100, so all it comes down there is how do you want to get there.

I don't know if you was just referring to what I was saying or us v6 owners in general but I didn't mean every v8 owner I meant for the ones that are the haters. I have respect for every camaro owner v6 or v8 but if you're going to disrespect me and my car for a silly reason ( difference between asking why didn't you get this model and someone telling you not to mod or get a v6 because its not worth it) then you will be labeled a hater.
