When I washed both my Camaro and my Cruze on Saturday they got full of pollen before I could even finish drying them. I could see the pollen in the air like waves in the ocean. In my 10 years in being in Tallahassee I don't think I have ever seen it that bad so early into spring.

It's the washer fluid reservoir. That forms the bottom of the air box. I was reading up on it and I guess GM actually kinda half-assed a CAI from the start because the fluid sorta helps cool the air just a smidgen with the factory intake.

Definitely more responsive and it definitely tacked on a few extra horsepower. I'll get her dyno'd at some point but I'm pretty happy with it.

Unfortunately she hasn't moved an inch since I drove her home from Tampa last Tuesday when we installed it thanks to midgrade fuel going up 40 cents/gallon overnight.
