If I'm reading this right you made 428 before the cam with all the other mods. The cam picked up 13rwhp at peak then correct? Its a good mild combination of mods you have there, I'm just trying to get an idea of the overall picture. 428 seems a bit high for shorties , exh and CAI. Just curious. I am NOT knocking anything, thats a very nice combination of mods, especially given the restrictive state you live in.

Awesome numbers for the mods done. That is my goal as well. I put the ls9 cam in my 1le the other week. The car definitely pulls harder up to the limiter than the ls3 did. I dyno'd 393 with a cai only. I havenet dyno'd the car yet but I do have some real world experience of how the cam worked. Before the cam, I ran my brothers '14 5.0 m6 and it was a dead even pull all the way through 4th. After the cam, I start pulling ahead in 3rd and by 4th I have about a 1-1/2 cars on him. Not bad for $100 cam and $300 cai! My labor was free so it made it worth it of course. Congrats again on the numbers!

I know it's hard for many to believe but my LS3 has dynoed about 10hp higher than any other in our CVC group here mod for mod same dyno. Everyone just accepts it as me having a very strong motor.

Get yourself a tune. It will be much worse for your brother.

Hopefully this will finally put the nay-sayers to bed on this subject.

Thanks OP for posting your results! Your build has inspired me

wow, you've inspired me too! Love the way it sounds, not crazy, but still mean. I'll have to look into this once smog time comes around. My current long tubes will have to go bye-bye

No problem! good luck on your build. As far as putting anyone to bed I highly doubt it, no matter how many dyno graphs and videos I provide lmao!

I get walked by the LS3 cars. My intention is to make just a little more power than the standard LS3 bolt on cars. Go a little quicker at the track.

I don't think there are naysayers out there about the gains just some people don't think its worth a days work to gain 15hp.

Shoot, not having to do springs or change anything other then loosening the rockers to slide the old out?

You could do that cam swap in 2 hours or less, easy.
