The Ford NAV is awesome though. I keep my phone and ipod in my bag in the back seat yet I have voice and steering wheel controls over them without having to hook anything up. Its a really nice convenience.
Though I'm not familiar with how the Mustang system works, I can bluetooth my phone and ipod to my Camaro and control them with no cords too.

Sorry I was trying to compare apples to apples with GTs and SSs. I would expect the GT500 to more inline with the ZL1, Chevy probably wins on that wheel front too.

I have 95% of that functionality with just my jailbroken iPhone and the Camaro's Bluetooth capability, for a fraction of the cost of what the Sync option costs, and I can carry it with me - plus I like the look of the Camaro's radio stack better than any Mustang's configuration.

Just my opinion.

If the Camaro had a solid axle it would be perfect.

GMC Syclone is the best performance value ! Fastest truck ever made, faster than any mass produced truck even to this day !

Once I get rid of the wheel hop in mine...I'll agree with you...but I've always had solid axles until this car, and never been unhappy with them...even on the street just being an enthusiastic driver...the wheel hop sucks.

Well, let me say I'm a huge Chevy guy... however, here's how I'd order my SS:

Cloth seats, 6 speed, SS, white on black, and no other options.

The new 5.0 Mustang would go like this:

Cloth seats, 6 speed, 3.73 gears, Brembos (forces 19" wheels), white on black, and no other options.

Basically, as light as possible and all the go-fast options available. From this perspective, in my opinion, the new 5.0 GT wins. What makes it tough is styling. Hard to beat a white fifthgen with hugger orange stripes.

The secret to guaranteeing the Camaro wins hands down? Shrink it about 5% and cut 300 pounds out.

You're missing his point, he's one of the many that doesn't really care about all the extra bells and whistles, like NAV. A lot of people intentionally get a stripped down, base model V8 with a standard transmission because they want a great platform to build a nice street/strip car from.

I like the 5.0s too, but Ford people are an odd bunch.
