I'd like one, but i'm almost finished paying off my SS so I don't need another payment. I will probably just supercharge mine in the future. I do like the ZL1 though.....

I want one, although it will not be easy to be one of the fortunate few to purchase one. I am doing everything I can to be the guy whose name is on the PO. It will be special. It will be pricey....but worth every penny. It will be highly sought after. We'll see come September what the allocations are. Until then...it's a waiting game. i'm buying one. chevrolet pretty much took the concerns of the ss and fixed it with the zl1. everything from suspension, gears to engine has been upgraded. now for those who are saying "well they'll have a 700hp camaro out by 2015." then you will be waiting for a long time. and at that time they'll have a rumor of a 1000hp coming out in 2020.

hp comes easy. don't let it be about hp as the reason you don't get one.

-It won't be in '12
-I won't pay an overage on it (it goes against the grain of all I've learned with car shopping).
-I will be financing it.
-If the car behaves itself then I may keep it a very long time!

After all the serious work I did on my SS just to trade up to a ZL1. Hell no. I'd prefer to wait and see what's in stored for the ZR1. Besides, I'm not impressed with the ZL1 specs.

Chevrolet would have to add an automatic and change the looks of the car for me to purchase one!

1. Automatic or DCT
2. Have dual vented hood or a center vent that is more subdued that is paint in either stripped color or car color.
3. Have more wheel options to select from. I do not like the standard wheels - to primitive looking for me - cheap looking too.
