I think the 6Gens are cool. To me it looks like a 5Gen and Stingray combined into one.
If it made sense for me to switch, I might. It doesn't, at least right now.

If they do a 80% off on the SS, I'd get one. Other than that, I'm keeping my 5th gen for a long time or at least until the bumpers fall off.

It'd have to be far more than 20%. I like the idea of a 6th gen 1LE well enough, but the next move will either be a C7 variant, or a used Civic because things financially went south in a hurry :P
till then, I'm completely happy with my car.

I will say the Gen6 interior is on point all that is has going for it. Too small like most said and it reminds me of a Genesis front and Lancer Back. That car is like a chick with a flat booty no curves.

I think these kind of threads help to show of the reasons the gen6 hasn't been setting the world on fire in sells. The pent up demand the Camaro craving motoerheads had has been met with the Gen5 car.

having gone to the dealership and test driven the exact same model, 2SS/RS convertible, I can unequivocally state, no.

I'll stick with my 2011 SS with 13000k. Besides the gen 6's quarter panel and side window are UGLY.

and to add to that, the 5th gen was soooooooooo true to the original, that, well, it proved difficult to improve on the design. yes, the performance is greatly improved, but that look of the original , well, Gen 5 came through BIG TIME!!!

I think when the ZL1 comes out, this question will be a different ballgame to those that can afford to upgrade (not me). For now though, no.

I got mine during that sale. Got almost what we payed for if not more for the 2010 camaro when we traded it in. got the 2015 for right around 15k. It was the best deal ever. Then we bought the 2010 back for less than they gave us

Yeah, I still can't get used to that dropped rear shoulder line on the quarter panel and the Ford Maverick/'71-'73 Mustang style rear side window shape. I think if GM went to a retro inspired 2nd generation F-body design for the 6th gen, they would've had another hit on their hands like they did with the 5th gen Unfortunately, they decided to play it safe and make it look like a heavily restyled 5th gen. Time will tell will sales though. |

The new car is not close enough, nor far away enough from the 5th for many to jump to the new model. Sure it performs well, but that is because they shrunk the car. Add to that Chevrolet has some really lame advertising...... emojis, vs some dudes in Dodges tearing up the grass..... Hell even Ford does advertising better. |
