I LIKE! I'm a bit partial to 10 Spoke designs....loved the look on my 01 SS and my Z06.
Will the optional SSX Wheels on the ZL1 be available in Competition Gray ? Also might be interesting how they compare weight-wise to the "normal" ZL1 wheels.

From what I read yup its an option, infact according to fbodfather on another thread this is the second ZL1 car made and is showing off these SSX rims. I just wonder if there's a wieght differance between the two, and if they could show both at the NY auto show. |

RPO option or an accessory?
That will make a huge price difference. It would be real nice if it's an RPO, than you don't have to deal with installation hassles and the accessory gazillion percent markup. |

I'd get them either way, but really prefer not to pay a lot of money like the current 21" option and be stuck with two sets of wheels. |

Those look sort of like CTS-V wheels, which are a major pain to keep clean since there tends to be lots of brake dust accumulation. At least the black color should hide the brake dust.

I am thinking that these wheels are lighter even than the normal forged ZL1 wheels and they would make an excellent track day set of wheels and tires. I still prefer the standard ZL1 wheels as my favorites so far.

I agree, although I also prefer them from an aesthetics standpoint. I wonder if these will be offered in a track package of sorts or if they will just be a stand alone option. |
