I LIKE! I'm a bit partial to 10 Spoke designs....loved the look on my 01 SS and my Z06.

Will the optional SSX Wheels on the ZL1 be available in Competition Gray ?

Also might be interesting how they compare weight-wise to the "normal" ZL1 wheels.

Have the SSX wheels been confirmed as an available option for the ZL1 or are they just trying to gather feedback for the possibility?

From what I read yup its an option, infact according to fbodfather on
another thread this is the second ZL1 car made and is showing off these
SSX rims. I just wonder if there's a wieght differance between the two, and if they could show both at the NY auto show.

RPO option or an accessory?

That will make a huge price difference. It would be real nice if it's an RPO, than you don't have to deal with installation hassles and the accessory gazillion percent markup.

I'd get them either way, but really prefer not to pay a lot of money like the current 21" option and be stuck with two sets of wheels.

Those look sort of like CTS-V wheels, which are a major pain to keep clean since there tends to be lots of brake dust accumulation. At least the black color should hide the brake dust.

I am thinking that these wheels are lighter even than the normal forged ZL1 wheels and they would make an excellent track day set of wheels and tires. I still prefer the standard ZL1 wheels as my favorites so far.

I agree, although I also prefer them from an aesthetics standpoint. I wonder if these will be offered in a track package of sorts or if they will just be a stand alone option.
