Check this vid out, it is of a 427R which is not limited and one model below my car but it rips up the Saleen pretty bad.

Hmm I never knew the Saleen was more expensive than the Roush. Good stuff. I figure by September my SS will be ready to play

There's a video on Youtube from the UK show Top Gear, where Jeremy Clarkson and company compare the Roush Stage 3 to a GT500. No offense to the GT500 folks out there (because your car is nice too), but the Roush destroyed it. The Roush is definitely a better road racing car, with better balance and corner grip, and is almost the Shelby's equal in brute force.

On another note, it's awesome to see such "friendly" competition and mutual respect in this thread!

Man, you sure about that Black, I have a another Ford hot Rod, a black on black 1990 Kenny Brown SC T-Bird, the only way I found to keep it clean is to wash it, put it in the garage and cover it and never drive it, black is a beautiful color, it will look awsome. Hey just take my word for this, on a black car you have no choice but to use Zaino. http://www.zainostore.com/ You are going to need a clay bar "EVEN" on a new car, Z2, Z5, ZFX Flash Cure set, Z6, Z7, Z8, I'm not kidding this stuff is freaking amazing, no swirls just paint so deep that you swear you can fall in it, I have over thirty coats on the Roush and it is way way cool if you can see it in person. here is one of the SC and one of two of the Zaino on the Roush.

Not sure I agree with you here, cos I have smoked GT's in my RT! And I know the SS is going to be way faster than my RT or SRT8.

JMAN311,
A fully loaded 428R went for $52K and they were built in 08 only, this one has the upgraded chassis over the Stage 3, billet suspension parts every where and I'm still finding bars under the car, it is "only" 475 hp, about the max you can get out of a Roush and keep the warranty, the day I bought it my wife agreed to let me buy it, but "ONLY" if I did not void the warranty with in weeks like I did on my Saleen and Kenny Brown SC T-bird, joke is on her as I have a Anderson Power pipe, bundle of snake headers and a smaller pulley in the garage and a GT500 fuel pump on the way, I'll go a while longer but there is hp still under that hood and I plan on getting every last one of them, as I'm sure you guys know how that. I really hope to find a Challenger and Camaro here in Albq in red and white so I can get a nice shot of Red, White and Blue cars from the Big three before it is two late.

Much to ya Roush428R. It's nice to have another Ford guy around here that doesn't just talk smack. I almost owned a few different Mustangs in the past. My bro has worked for Ford for quite sometime and I almost pulled the trigger a few times on some Cobras with his A-plan pricing, but always went the route instead (2000 Camaro SS, 2001 Vette) Glad to have you with us.

Great vid! I've always prefered the Roush stangs over the Saleens in the visual department. Also, I'd much rather meet Jack Roush than Steve Saleen, lol. Anyway this vid just backs up the fact that they beat the Saleen in the performance department too. I mean it's crazy when you see those stats that the lighter (by 324lbs), higher powered (+30hp/+25tq), $10K more Saleen gets stomped in almost every category.
