Better Off Dead is one of the greatest movies in my opinion, but it will not fit what you are saying. You will enjoy watching it though.

Not really a movie, but I see it on the show all the time.

Here's a great idea for a movie...
A guy buys a Camaro then goes on Camaro5.com and asks what he should get and everyone tells him to get a catch can. |

I think black bowties would be a darker theme.

The Rockford Files Starring James Garner as James Rockford. Best damn TV show-made 40+ years ago. And we just lost Joe Santos who played his buddy & LAPD Copper, Denis Becker. IT WAS A Fantastic show! If you ever get to see an interview with Jas. Garner regarding the show -watch it! He talks about the car as if it's his buddy & friend. He knew every mod they were doing on it for that show. Depending on what stunts were coming up with it. He did the lion's share of driving and car stunts himself. He said it was the best part of the show. GOOD SHOW, Great acting, and closest thing I can think of showing off a GM car driven by a classy actor whose a 100% smart ass. James Garner said in an interview, that for all seasons made, (~7 seasons) They only needed ~2&1/2 vehicles for all those seasons. Cars 1 & 2 were used for driving during the film and the (1/2 car) was used over and over as the Crash / Drive off the cliff or into the water stunt car. Great show, Great actors!!! |

i can think of a few other movies that had camaro's in them, but weren't remotely the star. Rockford was a good show. james garner got a bunch of nomintations and awards for it. I noticed an early episode on tv the other day from 1974. it was a Firebird Esprit, and i think he got a new one each of the first 3 years. i always thought it was kind of interesting a guy who seemed to be struggling a bit had a nice car like that, but then again i suppose they weren't that expensive back then. |
