So I ordered some 3m 1080 carbon fiber vinyl to change up the hood. Hoping this stays cleaner longer. It was pretty cheap for the material.

I'm just going to buy a carbon fiber hood when they come out with a decent design for the 2014.

Sent from the road.

was quoted $370 for 3m wrap materials and install.

Probably wishful thinking but could you wrap over the stock wrap? not sure how or if that would work
On your dark car shouldn't look too bad or too rice.

I ordered 7 or 8 feet of the 3m 1080 for $115 shipped. So if it doesn't work out its not a huge loss. If it looks rice it will be off in less than 10 minutes. The difference between the carbon and the matte black isn't as drastic as I thought,

Look forward to seeing some pictures of the hood. Thinking of doing the same.

Picked it up on ebay from a. Power seller. I just made sure it had the product code I he description so I knew I was getting the right thing.

I bought a couple extra feet because I plan on doing the rear spoiler as well. However this may be more challenging in which case I'll send it off.

Wrap came in today. Apparently it was sitting at my leasing office for a few days. I bought 8 feet so I should have plenty. Hopefully will get this done Thursday or Friday when I can get in my parents heated garage.

It's 25 or so here today so no way I was doing this outside.

I have the same wrap I'm going to use on my bowties and inside the SS. Might try spoiler and splitter if I get around to it

Sent from the road.

Your spoiler wrap looks awesome. I'd be happy to assist you on the hood wrap, if you care to use my garage.
