^True, I want roof and Npp, or low enough price to allow for wheels and supporting mods but if it comes in a neat package and affordable price, better yet. However the
2010 simply from a price point is attractive. It's hard toss up. The 1LE checks most of the boxes but comes in a few thousand more than the 2014 listed above and the 2010 without warranty. I am also hesitant of buying sight unseen, but again the supply sucks unless you are willing to buy new. I am looking for a constructive debate which probably will help for things I may not consider. Reliability features etc.. Thanks all! |

If you want a roof & NPP then just hold out. Waiting sucks, but you'll be happier in the end. A moonroof was a must have for me too, I wouldn't even consider a car without it; no matter of good of a deal.

The headroom comment was also excellent, I'm 6'1" with short legs, I have my seat dropped all the way down and have sufficient headroom, although my short 1" of hair touched the ceiling in the sunroof cars. Function over form all day. Also, sunroofs should be fun when you get in a rollover accident. NPP exhaust is neat, I love the sound of it. I have no mufflers at the moment and my car is still very quiet unless droning from bogging 6th gear below 70mph. I too wanted NPP exhaust, but I went with wide open glasspacks instead after hearing how quiet the car is with no muffling at all. The cats really take the crackle out. Stop searching your local area and expand your territory. Drive the best car you can find car home, don't buy a POS and regret it because you are too lazy to drive 1000 miles. You could rent a car and run a route to check the best 3 cars for example. Go hard or stay home, this is a serious investment.

The 1LE should be even quieter with "loud" exhaust when compared to a base model. The base gearing is way too tall and makes the car bog in top gear below 70. With 3.90 gears it would have a lot less drone at slow freeway speeds, not forcing you to go into 5th to avoid sounding like a Honda civic. A huge benefit IMO, as well as the closer gear ratios. I would have gone 1LE if I could have afforded it. But, do you drive hard? I thought I did, but I rarely need to use the most of my engine, I short shift and it works great.

The 1LE would be great for auto x's or an HPDE or two.
Probably can't do that in the 2010 without adequate mods. |

WARRANTY ok so close with the 2010 purchase and nervous about no warranty. Worse case no warranty can I buy one later? Buying sight unseen bothers me even though mileage is 37k on a 2010.

Under 25k is what I would like based on model and no trade. I can't justify later more expensive without trading my daily, but then I'd need a beater which is not ideal.

This looks nice, one owner '13 SS/RS with 23k listed at $24.7k. Has your moonroof and it looks to have NPP also. Seems like a reasonable distance.

Dang, well just goes to show that if your patient, the car you want will come along. Rather than settling.
Settling turns into wanting to sell it in a year or so

This is getting comical.
Dealers out of state can't register cars in ma. Runners refuse to handle ma registry rules. |

You can tell yourself that but it won't change reality.
