This color is great on the ZL1 but that red engine cover would look great matching any color this ZL1 comes in

Yellow seems to be one of the least ordered colors in the ZL1 trim. Not sure why cause it looks really awesome with the black rims! #288 came home on 4/24.

I think Yellow is the best with the black trim. "Overflow" took pixs of mine while I was showing at the Wiregrass Mall in Wesley Chapel Florida. pixs are above!

Def. liking the yellow ZL1's now. I am with VRUNNER and am wondering how a ZL1 will look with the T3 stripes. Once I get mine I might get them on there.

Is it my imagination or has the yellow been softened up a bit? It may be an illusion but it doesn't look "stark"... it reminds me of the Butternut Yellow from 1967. Maybe its the black accents, don't know, but it sure is appealing. I just thought the yellows in 2010 and 2011 were "brighter" than that. I like the feeling of the softened yellow for sure! Nice car!

Well just to be a little different I ordered my 2013 with the ecf hood. No more black stripe and I thought grey on yellow would look fugly.

I think it doesnt look as bright because none of the pics here are very clear or in good lighting. What this thread needs is more pics, im loving the yellow.

...we discussed colors back and forth until the cows came home...but I suggest that there is not a color the ZL1 does not look good cloaked in. It's a timeless design, with such personality and race ready stance, one color over another only enhances it's attraction to one buyer over another. They all look so damn good, if you had no choice over what was on the lot you would more than likely go for it once you saw it....

Official RALLY YELLOW ZL1 Photos Thread
539 (Yelllow War Eagle, 6 speed tremec, black wheels, carbon fiber hood) finally arrived at home Friday night. And, with 100 miles, I assure the nervous - this thing will run!
It was a delayed delivery for two days as the coolant recovery cap was missing and the front tires blemished during transport. The factory overnighted parts to Bill Buck Chevrolet (Venice, Fl). It also had what looked like a black magic marker blemish on the back fender. They also waited for me to see it and rubbed it out while I watched with a very small wheel and buffer with no issue. While some of our group have reservations about that first dealer checkup. I was very pleased with this dealer. |
