My dealer still cannot change my order - Page 3 - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

First of all, Happy Thanksgiving again to everyone. I spoke with a dealer friend of mine today. He was nice enough to do some checking and said that a number of changes were made today.

1. Added (GAP) Imperial Blue Metallic exterior color
2. Added (GBD) Aqua Blue Metallic exterior color
3. Added (Q9J) 20" x 8" (50.8 cm x 20.3 cm) front and 20" x 9" (50.8 cm x 22.9 cm) rear polished aluminum

So, I am sure a bunch of dealers will be getting calls tomorrow and next week to update these! Happy order updating.

Find a dealer to work with and you can have the car drop shipped to your local dealer. It doesn't go against their "allocation" and you get your car. I have heard the local dealer isn't forced to participate, but it is rare if they don't.

Shifty 6, I appreciate your comments on my military service. I have been deployed before during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and many other holidays. I am fortunate enough this year to be home with my wife and 5 month old daughter, so I am counting my blessings. But the real heros are the guys and gals that are deployed overseas right now away from their families. Everyone should say a quick prayer for all of them on this Thanksgiving and pray for their safe return home.

And I definitely will search out a more cooperative dealership, thanks for the tip.

I posted this in another thread, but thought I should put it here too.

BTW, I just wanted to update everyone. My dealer was able to update my order this week (added the polished wheels to my RS/SS). He had some trouble until I sent him the release from 12/4 that says the changes were made. If you still can't get your order updated, I would copy that new release and forward it to your dealer.
