Why does the CEL stress you that much? I thought the CEL appears only because of the modified exhaust gases. Are there any technical difficulties at all ?

Not all headers are causing CELs....some JBAs, and so far no DT shorties have caused a CEL.

a tune voiding the warranty is a never ending debate....
fact is get the trifecta tune, so if you ever need warranty work, you can revert it back to stock... tune voiding warranty problem solved

Yeah... if you didnt want to get a tune... you know what you should have done? Don't buy the headers. Like seriously... I hope you did your research... because sounds to me like you just commited to a woman who has a hot body (the performance gain) but she keeps nagging at you (the CEL). You got to think/research before you commit to anything dude.
