That state trooper must have been bored 'cause there are a lot of crazy drivers via this route to be picking on a front license plate. I have made this drive many times (family in Dallas) and never gotten pulled over with the SS or the Vette. Was it at the end of the month? Did you get a ticket or just a warning? Only a few days before the drive so it's too late for me to get a hideaway plate bracket. I just have to rick it (-:

just a warning...told the officer I just bought the car and they just gave me the plates..so maybe they're waiting for the bracket.
