We are Pretty confident, we tightened the hell out of the belt no change then sprayed the belt with Hair spray, don't laugh, it works for testing for belt slip again no change.

This car has a lot of exhaust cam in it and 2 inch headers.

Ted.

No VVT or AFM.

I will try and do a clip today.

Ted.
Will you be selling this cam as a L99 conversion package kit in the future. For the people that want to convert there L99 to LS3 with a blower.

Nice!

I wouldn't put it past him to get 9's.

Just a thought...was the last dyno completed with the same rear wheels...or was this one done with the bogarts, and the last one done with something else. The smaller and lighter wheels will improve the dyno numbers too...but this is still a nice gain and more to come!

James, Ted dynoed the car with the stock 20's not the 17" Bogarts. And when it made the 545 that was with the Dec air, it only made 530 before it crapped out two weeks ago. So I'm thinking the colder it gets the better it will do. Its pretty hairy to drive. But I don't need to tell you about the 50 mph rolling burnouts!

Don't worry it will be very very soon. I need Ted to do a trans brake as well but he's at the LSX nationals until next week. But trust me I'll be at the strip soon. Let me put it this way. The cage has the swingouts already in and the slicks are on. It just needs some blue tape! This thing is def going to take a full day to get use to now. I still only have 3 launches on the converter so I don't know whats the best rpm to leave or even tire pressures. And that was just about 100 rwhp ago. I can say that at least I know it will be interesting. I'll have to start with some 1/8 passes and then work up from there. No way I'm just going to go for it like last time.

Do it!!! We so need a Whipple build from you! I know you will put together quite the combo. Plus you will have tried and true tested stuff that i can buy from ya when i finally go away from stock internals for my Whipple. gonna run the stock stuff for a while and no stall, you think the AFM lifters will hold up at a shift point of 6200 or should I go 6100 to be safe? Rev limiter 6400? It will be bolt-ons and no more than 9psi.

I tried to get one to bring to the LSX shootout but NO LUCK.

I will try again when I get back.

I would set the shift points at 6200 and the rev limiter at 6400

The converter is really going to hold you back.

Ted.

Thanks Ted. I know, not having the verter will hold me back, but I want to see what she will do w/ out one, besides my wife nearly divorced me when she found out how much I spent on the blower, I`m going to have to wait till next year at least, and would need another set of tires that will be mandatory w/ the addition of a converter and that much power. I will be lucky if the 20 nitto drag radials will hold w/ the blower much less blower and stall. So add cost of tires and converter and I would be single by christmas if i bought them now..Lol... If I add a converter next year, you will be the guy i buy it from, no doubt.
