Can whoever set this up please shoot me a PM? Our New England club is trying to set something like this up at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and I have a few questions to ask about the planning.

Cool videos and pics! This looks absolutely awesome!

You'll need to contact the Pace Setters Corvette Club in Atlanta. They are the original organizers of this event.

For sure, most of the SS's could have driven much better, I know the suspension on stock Camaro isn't so great for this type of stuff, but I'm sure there were a good number that had upgraded springs at the very least and a few other mods.
By this time next week I'll be at 575hp / 490rwhp, depending on version of your Vette you may have stayed ahead of me, but I'm sure I wouldn't have been very far off the mark. Too bad Atlanta is so far away, I'd love to do that track, I"m an amateur but, I'd give it my best shot. And, I'm sure my vehicle would hold up quite well with the suspension upgrades.

Well trust me when I say this and the other guys in this thread who were there will vouch for me on this:

If you have never done this before, what you thought you were gonna do and what you ended up doing are two, TOTALLY different things! My speedometer says 200Mph. I swore that I was gonna do at least 160 on that track the first time I did it. Hog wash! My balls were so far up my butt that I was doing every thing I could to not sprout nipples!

Until you've road the big "O", there is no way to explain the rush and fear all rolled up into one!

One of the pictures I took. Camaro5 taking over the track. I thought that it was great that the Pace Car leading all of the Corvettes, Vipers, Challengers and Others was a CAMARO!!!
