The Ad Agency that Chrysler is using is doing an AWESOME job on all of their recent commercials

The rocket comercial is pretty good

but I would like to see Chevy do something like Top Gear's Donut clip for a Camaro commercial

Why spend money on something that is going to be a waste of money? The Camaro sells just fine without any sort of ad campaign.

Pretty closed minded response dont you think? The only commercial Ive seen of the camaro SUCKED. It had the V6 in silver with a blan background. No car noise at all. I get we had out commerical in transformers, but I think a commercial like this dodge one or the new vette commercial would be awesome. It wouldnt change my mind on anything, I just think it would be cool to look up and see a kick ass camaro commercial on tv. Then I could text my friend to youtube it, and shove his 2010 GT up his ***! Gotta spend money to make money.

Camaro should avoid that type of campaign. Am I nit picking?
Yeah, lil bit.

I wouldn't call realistic, close minded. Its true, in some situations spending money is necessary to make money. But that just isn't the case here. How can you prove that an ad would gain sales when the camaro sales are doing just fine. I agree we would all like to see a camaro commercial. But seriously, what's the point? The corvette on the other hand....

my 2 cents.

1) Chevy should have kept the 5th gen camaro totally underwraps until transformers, no concepts, nothing revealed. A ballsier approach, but the 'HOLY SHIT' you would have got in the theatres would have never been more perpetuated.

2) I have yet to see a camaro commercial on TV. Its not a matter of making me like it more, the goal is brand/line reinforcement. Remind everyone else how badass the car Im driving really is.

The minute a car company becomes comfortable with it current sales, is the time they lose ground...

Meh.

That commercial made me laugh more than anything. Sure didn't make me want to buy a Challenger. Quite the opposite, actually.

No doubt about it, Chrysler's ad agency has done a great job. Muscle cars are about having fun -- why shouldn't the commercials be the same? Much better than those stuffy BMW and Lexus spots targeted at yuppies who need "accident avoidance systems."
