I've only today started thinking about getting the heritage grille on the Camaro, but it seems to me that it would be best if we could have the insert painted to match the body color (except for the actual grille, of course). Thoughts?

Have we gotten any info on what this grille will cost yet?

I've wanted it since we saw it as a cardboard mockup on the red accessory model. I just want to know what it's going to cost.

Really? Where was that listed/shown/said?

I believe you, I'd just like to see. I REALLY want that grille. LOL

I'm glad it's a dealer installed option. I'll order it seperately and have it installed after I take delivery of my Camaro.

Aww, guess I was wrong about no bowtie.
Shoot, it looks very clean without it, I hope there's no indentation on the grille when you take it off.

There's a thread about it.

Or:

http://www.gmperformanceparts.com/se...o_sitelet.html

Click on the Dale Jr. Car, click the grille, and it tells you.

The heritage grill does NOT come with the bowtie. I don't remember where I read it, I'm thinking it was in the original accesory thread, but I am 100% sure there will be no bowtie on it.

Is that lower portion of the grille part of the new heritage grille? Or is the lower portion going to stay the same?

your dealer is wrong, these are all LPO coded items that can be ordered with your car and show up on your order sheet; then later to be installed by your dealer.
