how do these halos light up??? Are they led or what? Because making red ones or any color might not really be that hard to do by using a full spectrum led and just messing with the voltage.

They are but not from GM because they are illegal to run in the US. You can still get them but for "off road use"

If you get them show photos but be prepared for the lights behind you.

They obviously are not legal.. but just be smart about it.

I am getting the red halos - which is the reason why I didn't get the RS package.. I am going to modify my headlights anyways.

I am going to run an independant switch for the red halo's, that way I can turn them on and off as I plz.

Another thing to consider is having them hooked up with the parking light.. that way, u don't have to install a sepearte switch..

I was just wondering if there are any aftermarket alterations to the HID headlight halo rings that come with the RS package... i have a RJTC color on order with RS and i was thinking that dark red halos would look cool

side question... are hte halo lights always on? or are they only visible at night when the actual headlights are on as well....

I don't think any of those are street legal.

The halos are the parking lights and stay on when you turn the headlights on.
