I don't want those flat black decals on my car. What happens when you accidently hit them with wax? I think we all know the answer to that, I will have mine sprayed on.

Ordered 2SS/RS SIM with rally stripes...then changed order to delete stripes, and add polished wheels...and then changed order again to delete polished wheels for standard Midnight Silver RS wheels. The extra time to think about this car has been fun, but I have my order correct at last so bring it on,1st priority with my dealer.

what about silver ice w/ silver ice dealer installed stripes? Anyone done or seen this? I believe the effect would be great and still be subtle enough to keep all of the "classy" look of a silver sans stripes car. Thoughts?

I have the black rally stripes-dealer installed. Love the way it looks. But I would highly urge one to get them painted on instead. Stripe surface mars way to easy removing bugs. Wax damages them-from what I heard on this board.
And I would paint them the same way they are if decal'd sizewise (It's a 2010 Camaro-NOT 1969!!!). Are RS packages still being dropped sometimes when changing your order? I would still check.

I took Silver ice metallic with CGM (Grey) stripes and an orange interior. I had no idea if the color combination would work but when I finally saw it my jaw dropped. I love it.

1SS no vinyl stripes, no vinyl interior. (Most of the "leather" is vinyl)

I went with the 2SS/RS with the black rally stripes. Stripes were never really a question. I think the car looks kinda naked without them. Only issue was back in the day the dealer didn't have anyone on staff to install. Had to go to an aftermarket shop to get them put on.

Mine has factory installed black rallies. I thought about it a lot. Back and forth between the factory stuff and painting them on later. Then it struck me one day. There is nothing gloss black on the exterior of the car! The flat black stripes meld perfectly with the rest of the black on the car. 'Nuff said....
