Drove mine through the winter with no problem using the 18" all seasons. I really never took it out in anything more than a few inches of snow since I was more scared of the ROCK that Mass DPW putts down on the road instead of sand ! I would use the drive in car wash to rinse the crap off every other week. I can't think of enjoying my car without driving it all year round ! Mine is not an investment it is a luxury to be enjoyed.

Drove my 2000 Z28 in the snow once by accident(should have watched the weather report). It was horrible, but I did not have snow tires.

I don't plan on driving my 2010 SS in the snow/salt, but I heard good things about them in the snow.

Even if I did plan to take it out in the snow, I would never get back up my driveway, heck my Jeep has troubles in 4 sometimes. .

I drove my RX-8 once in the snow, same deal, and it had summer-only tires. I BARELY made it to my GF's house and back. I was going up a hill sideways and man i JUST barely made it up. If I couldn't make it, she would have been walking halfway home

I drove this puppy through a couple winters. One winter was scary cause I used the stock 245/50/16's, they would get stuck on a flat stretch of road with a minor dusting of snow. The following year I smartened up and got some snows from my dad's Chevy Caprice Classic he had sitting in the shed, much better!

My husband put snow tires on the Camaro and drove it everyday from Nashua to North Andover. He had no problems at all and he says he's never felt safer in a car during the winter.
