My amp is rated at 2 ohm bridged mono 500 watts, My woofer is rated at 300 watts RMS and setup for a 2 ohm load.
I'm hoping that if I keep the gains turned down on the amp it won't blow the woofer?

My subwoofer and amp are both rated at 300 watts so my system will be pretty much "matched".
