^ I'm with you on that. I've seen a CGM Vette up close in the showroom, in direct sunlight and in the shade. Even with the blue flakes, it was nothing special. It's just gray to me.

yes everyone change their orders from CGM to something else. So when I get CGM, it'll be less common :-)

Very good suggestion ArcAngel. CGM vettes are not hard to find at dealers.

First off, don't compare CGM on a Traverse to CGM on a sports car....I agree, it looks bad on the Traverse because the bodylines don't work with it. I ought to know, my wife's is sitting in the garage.

Second, the CGM has drawn me in for a couple reasons:
1. Looks great on the vette. I think that with the similar bodylines and rear quarter panel design, the CGM will look great.
2. Think back to the 50's/60's when guys used to paint their gassers flat colors, predominately black but also greys. It was just something they did, it looked cool, and it definitely was not a "conformist/mainstream" thing. Maybe the CGM folks are setting a trend similar to that....blazing a path, so to speak!

So I say to anyone who is getting CGM....go for it. Be different, be a non-conformist, and when a punk ricer challenges you, blow his f-ing doors off!!

Well you like it on the vette josh1147 all I'm saying is guys should check it out because a few of us who did it helped us make up our mind. I personally didn't like it

Yes, it's "Always Dirty" Black for me then!

Too many silly ricers over there who never realized the colors were available for a few months now.

I was sold on IOM but than saw the pictures and didn't like it inside under the lights, too light, on the canyon and wanted to puke, but did like it on the fair grounds, except was almost red.

Not a Red car guy, but rally like the red Jewel.

Yellow to lemony, not orange yellow like the viper or transformer car. That would have been a lot tougher looking.

Love black but have a black car. What a Bi... Never clean

Wife wanted Silver Ice, but was a little too plain for me.

Aqua blue didn't look good until the epcot under lights photo, but not for me.

Was going to go with IBM but a little too dark, almost black.

So the wife said, Silver, Red Jewel, Cyber Grey, or IBM.

I went with Cyber Grey RS/SS with black rallys. I will look to paint or powder coat the wheels semi gloss black to really pull off the evil look.

Just my opinion though.

PS please don't tell the wife, it's a surprise.

if there was any other color not shown there would be equal excitement over that color

silver ice metallic is a much better color that shows off the cars lines
