There is stitching on there so I really do not want to do that myself. Leatherseats.com included the center armrest on their deal.
I would think so since this is an interior kit. I can verify though.

Here is a quick question for ya Txturbo (like you havent had any in this thread haha).
I see that these have a warranty through GM, so could we get this done at a dealership or would it be easier to go through someone else to put the covers on?

Yes, I would like to know the answer to bruins004 question. I would not feel comfortable putting these on myself and I may be interested in a group buy...but need to understand the process better. So far sounds pretty interesting...

I am going to give them a call today and get exact wording on how the warranty works. I don't want to give inaccurate info.

I got katzkin on my current car with leather and suede inserts.
Definately recommend. Had it for 8yrs and barely any wear

to answer the install questions for some people. I had an upholstery place install mine and it took them less than an hour. They use these rings and a special tool to clamp it. Seems fairly simple.
The place charged me $80 to do two front seats.

I called Katzkin yesterday and got some answers to some of the questions.
  • The warranty is 3yr/36K miles through Katzkin, which is equivalent to the factory GM warranty.
  • If you want the kit installed in your car and included in the price/financing, you will need to order the kit before your car arrives at the dealership. Installation and final price are between you and your dealer.
  • If you order the kit after you take delivery of your car you can pay the dealer to install it, install it yourself, or locate someone to install it for you. If you can't find someone to install it, I can call Katzkin and have them check for restylers/installers in your local area.
  • Kits won't be available until Katzkin can get thier hands on a car to make the patterns from. They have dealerships in thier area who supply them cars to make patterns from. So I'm sure they will get one of the dealers first V6 cars sometime in April/May.

Excellent info and thanks for the follow up. Nice to know we have this option.
