she missed the front end, so just the door and rear quarter, I think what happen was I spooked her and she zigged instead of zagged and got confussed where the car was , once she fell on the door her head rammed the rear where the vents are you can see two little marks where the horns where

On a more serious note, I have never had so many close calls with hitting animals as I have with my camaro. I don't know what it is,
but I hit a rabbit the first day I had my car, missed about 10 birds by inches, Deer, turkey, you name it. I came out of each encounter unscathed, but damn, it sure wears on me.  It's like they can't see this car...  M

IOM paint isn't that hard to match, a friend of mine did some work on my car and you can't tell it's been painted.
BTW, I saw a deer run into a car stopped at a stop sign, we had been stopped long enough for a couple of car pass though the intersection before the deer hit his drive side door.

Remember that these things have a "uni-side" quarter, rocker A & C pillars all in one. If it is bad enough you will need the whole side cut off. I have a friend who owns a body shop locally and he had his car backed into. It needed a uni-side (back-ordered for a month), door & wheel. They use water based paints now and I have yet to see anything done in water base that doesn't match. It is really a great process. Just make sure they check for variances in the color. By the way his car is IOM too & the match is perfect.

my car is shined every night before bed, so it was shiny. oh well she going in on thursday am to get fixed

got call from body shop $2800 in damage, they are going to repalce the drivers door and fix the rear quarter. Do you think the value of the car is alot less now? They are getting the door from GM so it is oem but I can not help think that the car is tainted
