This is what was left after I spilled the rest.

Because of the extreme temps we've had and the fact that my car is a daily driver, I've given my RX catch can a jacket and hat.

The single digit temps had me a bit concerned and rather than finding an engine mounting solution for the harsh part of the winter, I insulated.

Now that is funny, but smart too.

Buy the way your next storm is on the way in time for new years.

Yeah the temp is supposed to be 63 on Friday and high of 30 on Saturday. At least no bitter cold again in the near future.

Got my Vararam installed today. Unfortunately, Autozone here in BFA (Bullhead F'in Arizona ) only had 8' of 5/16" fuel line for the catch can relocation. They had no stock of the 3/8" either. Had to run the hoses over the throttle body and remove the engine cover. So, I will be moving to civilization in February and will follow your lead of rerouting the lines across the rad when I can purchase the proper hoses.

I don't reccomend using fuel line as it is to soft and can collapse under vacuum and block or restrict the flow. Emmissions grade or trans cooler hose works well.

You are going to love the VaraRam. Sucks about AZ in AZ not having 3/8 transmission cooler hose. They can get it for you, if you ask them to.

I'm just not used to living in a small city, I guess. I will go there tomorrow and order some.

If they can't help you out, let me know how much you want and I'll hook you up for actual price they charge me and actual shipping.

Thanks, that is above and beyond, for sure. I checked the O'Reily's website and they can order some for me. ~5.70/ft sound about right? Autozone really hasn't impressed me with their customer service here so I'll try the competition. Didn't make it out today but will hit them up tomorrow.

$5.70 per foot? Nope that's not right. I think I paid around a dollar per foot.

If you get the hose from O'Reilleys make sure not to get that precut crap hose in their AZ equivalent of the Help section. Bulk hose is good because it doesn't have kinks or doesn't have permament piggy's tail curls

Here's another option with a VaraRam. I know it's not the best catch can but I pulled it off my totaled G8. I drilled a hole in the corner of the base of the underhood fuse box support, used a bolt and old rubber shock mount to raise it a little. I've since shortened the stupid long line from the valve cover to the intake. Think I'll replace it completely with a oil cap breather soon.
