Glad you're happy. Ted really knows his stuff. I'm probably gonna hit him up for some 4.11's that will hopefully make the car feel yet another 500lbs. lighter.

With the SLP CAT-back and Volant CAI I installed on my SS, I was taking +22 air and my check engine light came on a few days after these mods. I was told that SuperChips would resolve my problem. So I purchased it and put it in. This did not resolve my problem and I wasn't really impressed with Superchips.

So a friend told me about the Predator. I took back the superchip and started messing with the predator. After reading some posts on diablosports.com, I wasn't the only person in America having this problem.

I proceeded to install the "diablo tune". This is the 93% octane tune but again, this didn't resolve my problem. My check engine light was still on. So I read and learned about the "real time" logging you can do on this device. Wow, I was impressed and shocked as too what you can monitor.

After enabing this feature, I quickly was able to adjust my fuel banks to compensate for the +22 air I was getting. Also, I was able to adjust Wide Open Throttle (WOT) settings. Now, my diablo diablo 3 skills tree light is off and the car runs like crazy !

In my opinion, the diablo was much cheaper than SuperChip. I would STRONGLY recommend this device to any camaro owner that has modified their car. It helped me balance everything out and get the max performance of my SS.

The Only Problem with using the Onboard adjustments in the Predator is how it goes about adjusting fuel.

It changes the injectors Size which is totally the wrong way to correct fuel trim error caused by a Cold Air Kit.

The MAF needs to be Recalibrated for your New CAI.

Even though you adjusted the fuel, the Timing values are still incorrect as the CAI is reporting 20% less Load Value therefore choosing too much timing.

By calibrating the MAF, via a custom tune, Fuel trims, and Load values are Corrected the Right Way.

I offer Custom Tuning service for SCT and Diablo Products.

Ted.
