Jee 600 may as well cut it up and do a tube frame at this point. Seriously this is going to be awesome. Can't wait to see the result.

I've seen it done on 2 Camaro's now. The chassis shop follows the windshield pillar down and goes through the top of the dash panel. The hole around the pipe gets covered (on top of the dash) with a panel to block the hole and make it look pretty.

These pictures are from Speedster's car. They did it a little differently than I just described to address the dash area but you get the Idea of where the tubing is going to be placed.

Most importantly, I will stay in the seat when Autocrossing. that will be my biggest advantage - along with the chassis being stiffer.

Most of the interior will go back in once the welding is complete on the cage.

I'm still gonna have cup holders when we are done..

don't know what it will weigh when finished. It was 3865 LBS before we started.

That was funny..

Nope.

I did find a $20.00 bill wedged in the side of the driver's seat near the console though...

I'm adding the cage to be legal for drag racing, my events on the road course, and to have a seat I will stay put in for Autocross.
