As awful a show Hawaii Five-O is....

I like to see the Camaro on there.. it gets a little streched when they are cuising along at a steady speed and the editors have put in the sound of a car going through the gears like it was them! LOL .... Funny.

In fairness to the show's producers it's unlikely that they really ever really intended for this to revamp the old series for a new generation of viewers anyway. The new generation very well may have found that stale (not that the current crop of cookie cutter police dramas aren't, but still...). Sorry but I don't see any styling cues from the old show. Okay - It's in Hawaii. The old Steve McGarrett was as chill and cool as David Caruso in CSI Miami. And, Danno was 5'8" - not a little person. I do Love the Camaro. I think it deserves a a bigger part.

I like the show too... the only problem I have is that McGarrett is just too cool sometimes. So he gets on my nerves a bit and as much as I love Scott Caan in just about anything he does , like Entourage , he can be a little too mother hen sometimes. But all in all I think the show is entertaining. Some weeks are certainly better than others and I too dig seeing the camaro. I remember when they came out with , "My Own Worst Enemy" in 2008 showcasing the very first C5 and even had a 69 Camaro in the flashbacks. Unfortunately lousy NBC cut that show

I think they need to have McGarrett fling it up with the Governor. She is kind of a hottie older women

I see the at the end of the last sentence, but I believe you feel the need to defend your favorite show as if you were defending your own intelligence. All I expect is a little realism that doesn't insult mine.

For example, in the episode last night, there is a scene towards the end where a SWAT team holds their fire when an armed kidnapper is an easy kill with a clear backgound. That guy should've been a stain on the wall. They take the handcuffs off this guy so he can talk to his daughter! Doesn't anyone watch the news? COPs? Anything real?

It always bothers me that when they are driving and talking in the car (happens a lot) the door lock pegs are up. When by default, the car locks the door / shuts the pegs when it begins to move.

I guess Hawaii 5-0 standard procedure is to drive fast in car chases with the doors unlocked, so they went in and manually turned the auto-lock off.

Like the show, and the car in the show, BTW.

I like seeing the Camaro...and Grace. Makes me chuckle when they do high speed chases. Waikiki is gridlocked a lot...good luck doing over 30 mph for 10 hours of the day on the rest of the island. Still wouldn't mind living there a few years....beautiful place.

I enjoy the show for what it is...entertainment.

Most people would not enjoy a show about true day-to-day Police work...it's not as exciting as you think. Not to mention, any attempt to capture it in "real-time" would require several TV seasons to cover. The truth is, most viewers want the case wrapped up in an hour episode...just my .02.
