The Body controller will shut the lights off after a few minutes so that your battery does not drain.

The cars on the floor (other than the Red RS) are not powered up. (we must disconnect the batteries) -- We DID power up the Red RS (as well as Corvettes so that the doors open ....) -- but it's a VERY early car -- and the controller shuts the halos off in about 45-60 seconds.

The cars at Detroit had 'jumper' wires on them to keep the lights on -- that involves cutting into wiring harnesses -- something we don't like to do...

Uh, why not just disconnect the factory harness into the headlights, and have your engineers fabricate a harness with factory connectors that can be run into the floor of the building or wherever your power source is? That way, the lights and ONLY the lights can stay on indefinitely without having to hack into the factory wiring harness, and your battery can stay disconnected.

Give me the factory connectors to the headlights, a hundred feet of 12 gauge wire, and just show me where the 12 volt power source is for display vehicles.... I'll have all the headlights in your display area on every car running in a half hour without a single modification into the car's factory electronics.

Yup -- but are you going to show up at every show and do that?
