They should make a convertible ZR1, it just means that more will be sold and more money for GM. which means that they get to build us more interesting and awesome cars..... so please build it..... heck make it an auto!!! so our auto friends have something to drive.( dont hate ) just my 2 cents.... i could be wrong

If Chevy makes a ZL1 convertible, I will buy one. Right away. Cash on the barrel-head. I think a lot of people will. It would be an instant classic.

And, no, I don't give a rat's ass about racing.

Yup. And I am one of them.

500 Canadians, maybe.

But in the warm weather parts of the US, it would be a hit. It's hard to explain the appeal of driving a convertible to people who live in cold climates.

In the US, Chevy could EASILY sell several thousand per year.

The car would be an instant classic. One that people would be drooling over at Barrett-Jackson auctions 20 years from now.

I want a ZL1, wife wants a convertible. Unless we get 2 cars a ZL1 convertible is on our wish list. I am sure the price will be more than we would pay.

I wouldn't buy it either, but for those that do, an option couldn't hurt?

No offense to any vert owners but IMO all of them are ugly no matter who makes them.

Absolutely I want one. Whether I can actually afford one is another question entirely, though...

nah.. imo GM would do better to offer a ZL1 auto. I doubt it would cost much since its already in the CTS-V.

edit: There would be alot more demand for an auto, than a vert.

I don't know how I feel about the camaro convertible yet. I would probably rather buy a corvette.

Why take an either/or approach?

Honestly, I think most of the people who are opposed to a ZL1 convertible won't ever wind up buying a ZL1 of any kind.

Why not be supportive of those of us who do want a ZLI convertible and help us convince GM to make one?
I agree, and the same goes for those of us that want a CTH "Transformers package" option, which by the way I have faith there will be.. But that's a discussion for the CTH thread.

Why not the options we want , if you in particular don't want them , then just order your car the way you would like it.

I will definitely buy a ZL1 Convertible if Chevrolet builds one. I think Chevrolet needs to build a ZL1 Convertible if they want the Camaro to compete on all levels with the Mustang, since the GT500 is available as a convertible.
